“The work you do today determines where you will be tomorrow”

Jordan Heffner, M.A, LCMHC (she/Her/HErs)

Take a breath. You have arrived in a safe space to address concerns related to sexual health, shame, trauma, identity, and self-esteem.

I help people just like you throughout North Carolina achieve sexual health and healing, find empowerment, and build deeper, more authentic relationships.

Let’s get real…

I got into this field because it came as a calling. Growing up, I was the person my friends and family came to when nothing was going right, when they wanted to be seen and heard, and when they wanted someone to care about the response to the question “how are you doing today”. I am where I am today because of my resilience, my values, and my supports that kept me going as I battled and healed through my own trauma, anxiety, and depression. I’ve been on that side of the couch, and I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, lost, and vulnerable.

I sit in front of you now as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to make sure you have a genuine person in your life who will listen, truly hear your experiences, see your struggles, shine the light on your strengths, challenge you, and celebrate you every step of the way as you navigate your own healing journey. I believe strongly in being authentic, finding courage through vulnerability, advocating for constant growth, and building empowerment. I built Evergreen Mountain Counseling PLLC around these values.

I specialize in supporting women and young adults, to help you thrive in creating the life you want and deserve for yourself. Therapy with me focuses on uncovering your values and identity, diffusing shame, owning your sexual health, and redefining your trauma. Do not go through another day feeling hopeless, worthless, or stuck. Contact me today to begin moving towards growth, change, and the life you’ve always envisioned for yourself. Let’s find it together!

“We bitch about our difficulties along the rough surface of our path, we curse every sharp stone underneath, until at some point in our maturation, we finally look down to see that they are diamonds.”

-Frank Jude Boccio, author of Mindfulness Yoga
